What to Expect

Before you head out for one of our Sunday worship services or many activities, check our map and driving directions page. It is best to arrive early because parking goes fast. The church is fully wheelchair-accessible.

Greeters will meet you at the front door to welcome you. Ensure all electronic devices (cellphones, PDAs, pagers, etc.) are powered off or silenced upon entering the church. Our ushers will gladly answer any questions you have, help you find a seat, and provide assistance to you to take care of any personal needs you may have before worship begins.

God accepts us as we are - no matter who we are, what we do, or how we dress. We do not have a dress code, however, we do ask you to be mindful that your attire does not distract other worshipers.  At Peace you will find us wearing anything from jeans and tee shirts, to suits and ties. Please wear whatever you feel is most comfortable for you in this setting.

We respect that your relationship with the Lord is a personal matter, and that your attendance is not for our benefit but for the uplifting of our God. We will at a set time in all of our gatherings stop and greet each other in an informal way. Some of us don't always get to talk and see each other often, so this is a time of brief fellowship. A minister may ask any first-time and returning visitors to please stand. We will not ask your name or any embarrassing questions. We will extend a greeting with hellos, handshakes, and/or hugs.

Everything you need to follow the service can be found in the bulletin. The words to the hymns, scriptures and responsive readings are available on the video projector screens throughout the sanctuary. A minister assigned to assist with worship leads the congregation with any responsive reading and a member of the music ministry leads the congregational hymn. The pastor will give directions for any special presentations or intercessions. Please be mindful that movement can distract someone from hearing an important part of the preached message, so we ask that distractions be kept to a minimum.
