Our First Lady


Sister Kimberly D. (Eddleton) Lee was born on March 3, 1966 in Richmond, Virginia. She has three older sisters and one younger brother.

She received her elementary and secondary education from the Richmond Public Schools. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle School Education and a Master of Science degree in Administration and Supervision from Virginia Commonwealth University.

First Lady Lee began her teaching career at Liberty Middle School in Hanover County, Virginia where she taught math and science and chaired the math department. After 14 years at Liberty, she began teaching math at John Rolfe Middle School in Henrico County, Virginia. There, she also chaired the math department, served as an Administrative Intern and was principal of summer school. Her last assignment was as an Assistant Principal at Varina High School also in Henrico County. She was diagnoses with Multiple Sclerosis in 2005 which led to her retirement in 2008.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Cedar Street Memorial Baptist Church where she proudly served under the leadership of the late Dr. Benjamin W. Robertson, Sr. While at Cedar Street, she served as a deaconess, choir member, missionary worker and youth sponsor. She met Pastor Lee at Cedar Street while singing in the choir and they were united in Holy Matrimony on December 23, 1990.

First Lady Lee is an energetic woman of God who has dedicated herself to the ministry of the universal church. She is a strong believer in her husband's vision for Bank Street and she has offered herself unselfishly to the members. She always wears an infectious smile and the youth of the church are drawn to her nurturing personality.

At Bank Street, First Lady Lee facilitates the New Member's Orientation, works with the Youth Ministry and heads the Drama Ministry. She is also an advisory board member of the Leaping and Learning Child Development Center and she conducts regular Staff Development training for the staff. She enjoys writing Christian articles and plays and she loves to bake unique sweet treats.

While striving to be a better Christian daily, she enjoys wearing her 3 crowns: wife, mother (Joseph, Jonathan, Joshua) and First Lady.
