I.    Family University

In order to bring forth the vision, the families inside of Christian Love need to be strong and vibrant. Christian Love's Family University goal is to produce and reproduce SPIRITUAL Families, through teaching and training, which will submit one to another in the fear of God. Families where husbands love their wives even as Christ love the church and wives submit to their own husbands even as to the Lord. Families where children honor their father and mothers that their days may be long. Family University will include the following ministries:

A.    Men of Purpose (MOP) - To teach and train men to become spiritual leaders of their families and discover destiny and purpose by creating an environment for healing and empowerment. Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
B.    Women of Promise - To provide women with encouragement, support, and instruction that will help them live victorious by holding on to promises of God. Proverbs 31:30-31 -Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.  
C.    Children of Destiny - To guide children to their divine destiny by teaching them to establish and develop a closer relationship with Jesus by way of hands on activity, Bible study, and fellowship with other youth. Proverbs 22:6 Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
D.    ARMY - (Anointed, Radical, Mighty Youth) - To teach and train young adults about the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit and prepare them to be soldiers on the battlefield by the way of discipleship, Bible study, and fellowship with other Christian youth. 1 Timothy 4:12  Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
E.    Single and Satisfied (SAS) - To provide support for singles that will assist them to live a Christian life successful and victorious and also prepare them for God-ordained marriages. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
F.    BLEND - Building Love Establishing New Destiny - To provide support and assist step-parent families adjust, balance, and merge non-biological family members. Proverbs 24:3  By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established.
G.    Single Parent Support - To provide support and encouragement to single mothers and fathers.  Psalms 37:25-26 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
H.    Prodigal Son - To encourage and empower parents to relate, release, and respond to wayward children.  Luke 15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

A.    Sunday School - To give children and adults an avenue to learn and grow in an environment that promote and encourage them to desire the sincere milk of the Word.
B.    Bible Study - To provide spiritual knowledge and insight to children and adults that will encourage spiritual application in everyday circumstances.
C.    New Converts Class - To teach foundational truths that will prepare saints for the Christian journey.
D.    Vision Training - To cast the vision and make it plain so that the people who read it can run with it. The training will give leaders and lay members a chance to strive toward a preferred future, not just a dream.  Habukkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
E.    Disciples of Christ Training - To follow God's command to "make disciples". This training will help Christians grow in faith and mature in character.  The training will also teach Christians how to disciple or be a mentor to others. Matthew 28:19  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
F.    L.E.A.D. (Leaders Equipping Anointed Disciples) - To train leaders to be accountable servants to Christ.  This ministry will teach and train leaders to walk in their calling in order to effectively develop and equip other leaders.  Ephesians 4:11-12 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

G.    LIVE - To help saints working in the ministry that may be suffering from burn out to regain and rebuild their passion. Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

H.    Ministers Training - To train ministers who are called by God, for the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ. Teaching them to make their calling and election sure. Ephesians 4:1-3 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,  with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;  Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace

A.    Bereavement
Calls of Support - Members of the Bereavement Ministry call to check in with church members who have lost a loved one.
Visitation - Members of the bereavement ministry schedule times to provide a ministry of presence to the grieving person to offer a kind word, an ear, and a shoulder.
Flowers / Food / Fellowship- After the initial show of love through funeral flowers, the bereavement ministry can coordinate church volunteers to bring meals to the grieving person for a few weeks. These services allow the grieving person to focus on his grief without having to take care of time consuming daily tasks.

B. Grief Support Groups
To lose someone or something you love or care deeply about is very painful.  Grief is a natural response to loss. It's the emotional suffering you feel when something or someone you love is taken away. The more significant the loss, the more intense the grief will be.

A.    Phase 1 is known as ground zero or code red, because someone who is starting the program is operating at a lost. This first cycle deals primarily with the inside issues. This is where problems are identified and life skills are taught. In the first cycle we get down to the basics and deal with the rudimentary needs by teaching our curriculum "Inside Out" which teaches skills using faith based principles that are tailored to the hard to employ. Its structure is to first deal with inside issues such as self-esteem, attitude, and character before progressing to employment skills. The curriculum also covers life skills such as anger management, communication, conflict resolution, assertiveness, money management, and organization. When individuals finish the program our goal is to not only make them better employees, but better people.

B.    Phase 2 is code gold which represents the purifying process that will take place in the lives of the participants. This is when CHANCE takes on it's primary role as an employment agency. Once the individuals have completed phase one employment can be secured. During this phase, they will also be provided a job coach / mentor that will serve as a liaison between the employer and employee if a problem should arise.

C.    Phase 3 is known as code green because that's when we begin to see growth in the individuals and it is also when they are given a chance to experience further growth. During this phase, we provide continuing education such as computer training, financial planning, GED classes, and entrepreneurial classes in order to increase marketability.

D.    Phase 4 is code blue, because the individual will have completed the cycle and is now considered a "blue chip" individual. Cycle 4 is the ownership stage. In this phase advanced entrepreneurial classes will be given to individuals who would like to own their own business so that they can employ someone and give them the same chance that was given to them. Individuals entering phase 4 will go through the Passion to Profit Training.
