The vision for First Fellowship Baptist Church is found in the vision of Jesus Christ, which He expressed at the beginning of His earthly ministry. Quoting from what we now know as the 61st chapter of Isaiah, the Lord said, "The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."
Likewise, it is our vision to empower, equip and mend broken spirits with the binding Word of God. We believe the Word of God is living and active and, having been breathed and inspired by the Holy Spirit, gives us the power to do His will. We believe it provides us with everything necessary to do the good works He has laid out for us to do. It teaches us to hear His voice, to serve Him and our fellow man and to understand what pleases Him. When it is allowed to dwell in us richly, the Word builds us up, encourages and exhorts us so that the Lord can glorify Himself through our vessels of clay.
