Audio/Visual Ministry

The Audio/Visual Ministry assists the Pastor and Church disciples by providing technical support to the Church during worship services, weddings, prayer meetings, funerals, and special functions. The ministry provides audio and videotapes to disciples who may be sick and shut-in and cannot attend regular worship services.

Breath of Life Ministry

The Breath of Life Ministry empowers individuals to live productive and healthy lives without mind-altering substances and/or destructive lifestyles and assist in transforming individuals to live in accordance with the Word of God and footsteps of Jesus Christ.

Christian Education Ministry

The Christian Education Ministry provides teaching and training opportunities to help the Peace Baptist Church membership grow as Disciples of Christ and leaders in church life. The ministry uses a variety of sources and resources to reach people of all age levels and backgrounds and nurture them as they grow spiritually.

Conservation and Outreach Ministry

The Conservation and Outreach Ministry seeks to reach the community at large and share Christ with them through various Church-based programs such as Clothing Fairs, Angel Tree Programs, etc. and demonstrates the life of Christ by sharing their spiritual gifts.

Counseling Ministry

The Counseling Ministry is comprised of members who have the ability to listen to the needs of Church and community members and provides non-clinical Christian advice to aid disciples in dealing with everyday situations.

Culinary Ministry

The Culinary Ministry provides for the physical fulfillment of the Church and the Community by preparing nutritious meals and serving them in a Christ-like manner as a means to minister to God's people.

Daughters of Peace (Women's Ministry)

The Acts 2: Daughters of Peace functions as an all-inclusive women's ministry. Its chief mission is to unite and make disciples of women of Peace governed by the Word of God in accordance with the Church's mission, goals and direction of the Pastor. Furthermore, the ministry enhances growth in prayer, love, worship, and fellowship within as well as through its outreach services.

Drama Ministry

The Drama Ministry works with the church choir to produce the musical dramas for Easter and Christmas worship experiences.

Health Ministry

The Health Ministry provides education and opportunities for temple fitness. This is accomplished by sponsoring seminars on relevant health issues, conducting screening and training sessions (i.e., high blood pressure, CPR), sponsoring regular exercise classes and having educational literature available to members of the church and community.

Nurses Ministry

The Nurses Ministry provides a variety of services for the congregation. The nurses are a vital force in the delivery of health programs and services to the church and community.

Missionary Ministry

The Missionary Ministry exists to inform church members of worldwide mission opportunities and to provide encouragement and resources for those who choose to participate in these opportunities.

Music Ministry

Peace Baptist Church recognizes the important of music in the development of the Spirit of worship. Opportunity is given to all who desire to serve the Lord with their voices and with musical instruments.

New Members' Ministry

The New Members' Ministry endeavors to greet and orientate new members in the doctrines of the Church body of Christ with Christian love, enthusiasm, knowledge, and excellence.

Pastor's Aid Ministry

The Pastor's Aid Ministry cares and maintains the needs of the Pastor in and out of the Pulpit and helps uplift the name of Jesus in their homes, churches, and within and throughout the community.

Projects For Life Ministry

Projects for Life Ministry is a program of supportive services that identifies appropriate and relevant resources to assist the educational, health, wellness and spiritual well being of church and community.

Security Ministry

The Security Ministry provides a secure and safe environment in the most unintrusive manner possible that does not hinder God's service and our service to God, each other, and the community.

Senior's Ministry

The Senior's Ministry demonstrates the life of Jesus through ministry to members of Peace Baptist that have been identified as being among our sick and sick-in, members recovering at home, or members with special needs.

Shekinah Ministry

The mission of this ministry is to Share Health Opportunities and Options United Together in an effort to advocate a healthy spirit, mind and body by increasing awareness through education, information and available resources in the prevention, control and elimination of health issues prevalent in our community.

Sons of Peace Ministry (Men's Ministry)

The Men's Ministry of Peace Baptist Church exists to see men grow in their commitment and relationship with Christ, their families, other Christian men, and the Church and its mission.

Sunday School

The Peace Baptist Sunday School wins souls for Christ with a commitment to transforming lives, nurturing and developing them spiritually, physically and morally, and to prepare them for leadership in the church, community and home.

Transportation Ministry

The Transportation Ministry provides bus service to assist disciples and community members in selected zones in a way to attend worship services at Peace Baptist Church in a safe and punctual manner.

Usher's Ministry

The Ushers' Ministry equips the people of God with the tools to show love and kindness when serving His people during all worship events at Peace and throughout the community. The ministry conducts spirit-filled workshops to ensure that all ushers understand the origin of ushering and are equipped to use this knowledge to fellowship with area churches.
