Dominion Academy Charter School is a middle school that operates on public school funds, supplemented with private, corporate and philanthropic donations. The school is designed to provide a unique learning experience for 6th and 8th graders. A strong emphasis on core academics, business, economics and entrepreneurship is the specialized focus. The program integrates academic theory and real life application, and empowers youth to view themselves as successful business leaders of the future.

We envision the Kingdom Builder's School of Ministry. It will be an institution that trains present and future ministry workers to produce at optimum levels in their respective fields of discipline. Students will be sent from churches around the nation and beyond to receive practical instructions in areas of general ministry and fields of specialized calling. The staff will be led by Bishop James Dixon, II and comprised of COF leaders and other ministry professionals.

ECONOMICALLY (ENTREPRENEURIAL): Dominion Plaza is a 38,000 sq. ft. retail service center, developed through Dominion Community Development Corporation. It is home to a mix of small businesses that benefit from moderate leases, congregational and community support, mentoring and entrepreneurial counseling. These businesses provide over 30 jobs presently to the community. The center is becoming a hub of positive activity, social interaction, and neighborhood-based commerce.

RESIDENTIALLY: Through Dominion Community Development Corporation, we have established an impressive record of providing residential opportunities. In partnership with Bank of America's CDC, we created the Canaan Collaboration which purchased and renovated a 136-unit apartment complex called Dominion Square.
